when i write this blog, it was the third week after i arrived at the US, one thing i would like to mention before this week is that we went to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. i noticed the American respection and enhusiasm of their contury in that Museum. JFK is really a nice place, which records most of the history in that time. people miss Kennedy is not only because of his era and personality, but figure history as a mirror, to produce a better tomorrow.
the most attracking place for me in that museum could be Exhibit of Presidency. as Kennedy advocates that every single people deserve their own equality of oppotunity and individual. although it is very common in every president's slogan, but as i right stand before the Museum, i can feel the authentic aura of being responsible for nation. further, when i see the exhibit of the election result from all the fifty states, i am shocked for the enthusiaum of being free and chase the polites people like freely. presidency and nation is a serious thing, but never a concealed movement in the frount of citizens. in that place, i appreaciate that every individual choose and follow the candidates who stands for their interest and faith. all i can see is the solidarity of a contury, of a nation, and of all the people.
this week, we went the freedom trail, where locates near the downtown, that is a historical and long street, along this street, we can see a lot of old and classical building uesd in the middle of 18th and first of the 19th century. our task is not only hang out with this classical street, but every one would hold a presentation for one spot, my spot is Faneuil Hall, which is built as a center of commerce in 1742. At here, people protected against Sugar Act and Stamp Act and then hold the doctrine known as no taxation without representation. but i like every place we met, i mean the building style, actually i am not quite familiar with the meaning in the history of this building, but i think that the building in that time must be very nice, i think those building are even better than nowaday architectures. By the way, i forget to bring camera that day, so...what a pity....
Haha. it is really embarrassing that u forgot ur camera. but u'v got ur own memory about this trip, that is also great!
