WEEK 1 Blog

My first impression of the US is that everything here is so clean: the streets, sky, the flowers and trees. There is no dust in the air. Shoes will keep clean for a long time. Ha-ha, what surprised me most when I got the US was everyone speaks English! When it comes to the thing that dose not surprise me is that most of the Americans are tall and strong!

Oh, the really hard thing I am facing now is to open mouth here. Though I know what they are talking about, I can only say “oh yes, yes, of course, no, no.” I can also write essays well. Maybe I should get used to the ways that native speakers do.

The field trip to the Museum of Fine Arts was so amazing. There are lots of countries’ arts exhibits in the museum. I have never seen any of China’s museums have such a huge range of the world’s arts.
