Yesterday is friday. We went to the Massachusetts State House. This building is very beautiful. I do not know what type the building belongs to, but i think it is very nice. Today, the Massachusetts State House is the oldest building on Beacon Hill.





The house is designed by Charles Bulfinch. Charles Bulfinch was regarded as the first native-born American to practice architecture as a profession. By the way, i think Charles Bulfinch is very handsome according to his picture.






Then, we went up to the second floor. A commentator led us to visit this house. The house included several parts. Some rooms place cultural relic, such as picture, chair, sculpture. Some rooms is for working. I was the first time to visit the real house. I saw the chair of speeker, and other senator's seats. This room is like classroom and i felt a tense atmosphere here. I seemed to see discussing scene. Look at the photo. The seats are very interesting. There are several keys, and the keys can help discussion and election.



Finally, we went to Senate Chamber and this is a big room. One thing leaves me a deep impression, which is the lights. This room have more than 200 lights. Can you imagine in a room have 200 lights? At that age, the people are not rich and even many people have not any light. The House go so far as to place so lots of lights. I think it is very wasteful. Actually, we should protect our earth and protect the energy.
