The Massachusetts State House is located in Beacon Hill next to the Boston common. Just the same as I imaged before, the environment around the State House was beautiful while the inside of the building was quiet with an atmosphere of solemnity. The most impressed thing to me is the architect. Maybe the most famous one is the dome. It is golden, shinny, splendid especially under the sun shine on friday. It was firstly made of wood but being gilded with gold for two times later, which is really beautiful.
However, one thing I must mention is the floor inside the house. According to the guide, because the government worried the native craftsman couldn't make tiles that very satisfied, they specially invited some craftsman from Italy to design and complete the floor project. After these people finished their job, they stay in America, married, have babies... Generation by generation, there are more and more people, gradually become a flourishing village--that is the North end today. I think from this story, I see why the US can be strong. It is a tolerated country, any people, if they have ability that worth admire, the country will accept you,give you chance to live a good life. So America attracted many elites from all over the word, when all this people work for the country, how can it be weak? The immigration make the society multiculturalism, which provide more good idea to promote the country advance in a right way.
China is developing very fast, one of the reason is that Chinese government make policy to invited outstanding people work here and provide good working opportunity. Besides, they develop trade carefully, so economy grow quickly especially after join the WTO. I think China is doing a good job in opening to the world. I believe both China and America will be better in the future.
