The Massachusetts State House

Last Friday, we visited The Massachusetts State House, which is the oldest building on Beacon Hill, is a powerful symbol of government site. It is amazing. the color of the dome is garden. According to some information of web, it is the oldest building and it grounds cover 6.7 acres or about two city blocks. When we came into the hall, a tour guide waited at second floor. He leaded us to look around some representative status and meetings and careful int erpreted these. To be honest, the guide told lots of academic words which I am not familiar with so that I did not total understand about every Hall or status of great man. However, I took a plenty of photos. These photos can help me to remember some detail. For instance, when we visited The Legislative Branch, many couple of the chairs and desks with a voting electronically machine were sit by representatives who are House and Senate. The room named “ Milestones on the Road the Freedom” on the ceiling cornice commemorate men who made important contributions to the commonwealth and nation prior to 1895. All in all, this trip also was showing American politics as similar as JFK’s trip, while this time may be showing us what the relationship between Senate and House was.
